Computer Network Center

       The Computer Networking Center of Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences is responsible for the construction and maintenance of network environment of the institute; developing and managing the Institute homepage. Utilizes proper technologies to actualize computers of every lab and office to be connect to the Institute network as well as China Science and Technology Net.

 

      The Local Area Network (LAN) reconstruction was completed in 2004. The trunk adopts the mode of Gigabit Ethernet network. The exchange rate is 100M/10M for desktop users, and 100M for all servers connected to the network. Spreading all over 12 buildings, which includes 500 communication spots within the Institute. The Computer Network Center is also responsible for design, build up and update the website of the Institute, and provides DNS, E-mail Services.

 

      IEE ARP (Academia Resource Planning of Institute of Electrical Engineering) Operation Management Center is a technical support and service department for the informatization of IEE research management. It undertakes deployment, test and acceptance, trial operation and guarantee for IEE ARP system, exerting itself on the deep and wide research of convergence of S&T administration and information technology, Research work informatization, construction of information resource index system and information mining service, etc.
