Renewable energy generation Research and Development Center

Renewable energy generation Research and Development Center mainly engaged in wind power, solar photovoltaic power and other areas of research work and focused on application of basic research, frontier areas of key technological development and innovation, the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements of research work. Major research work Include: the stand-alone PV power, wind power, wind-solar and wind-diesel complementary power system inverter control system; large-scale grid-connected PV power system and integration technology, inverter control technology and its development of key equipment (including all types of control inverters); large-scale grid-connected wind power units control and converter technology (including Stall Wind Turbine Generator Control System, variable-speed constant-frequency Wind Turbine Generator Control System and converters), variable pitch control technology and wind farm concentration and remote monitoring technology etc.
      Renewable energy generation Research and Development Center is one of the first domestic departments researching wind power, solar photovoltaic power generation. The group successively undertook four projects of “The 7th Five Years Programs”, three projects of “The 8th Five Years Programs”, four projects of “The 9th Five Years Programs”, six projects of “The 10th Five Years Programs”, three projects of “863 Program” and many horizontal technology research and development issues. Currently, the group undertakes two projects of “863 Program”, one project of “The 10th Five Years Programs” and two CAS knowledge innovation projects.
      In personnel, Renewable energy generation Research and Development Center has cultivated a strong R & D team, and more than 20 R & D persons who have master or higher degree engaged in research work. In laboratory environment, the group developed various power levels wind turbine generator control system experiment platform. High-power electricity electronic systems laboratory has experimental platform from 100 kW to MW level, the new power storage system experimental platform and distributed power generation system Experimental platform. Furthermore, there are circuit and systems analysis, all kinds of simulation software and so on.
