Cooperation and Communication

Our team keeps a good cooperative relation with Germany, United States, Australia and the World Bank, UNDP, the World Wide Fund For Nature(WWF) and other international organizations. With the support of National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce and Chinese Academy of Sciences, a number of international cooperation projects have been successfully implemented or in smooth progress:

1. Sino-German Financial Cooperation
Our team is the consultant service unit for Sino-German financial cooperation project “Solar program” trusted by Ministry of Finance. So far 210 PV-Hybrid power systems have been installed in Qinghai, Xinjiang, Yunnan, Gansu, the projects start from 2001 and will end in 2009. Germany government grants 26 million Euros for the projects.
Our team is responsible for project proposals, sites verification ,bids evaluation, training, project acceptance, and so on. Our services have been highly appreciated by the two governments..
2. Sino-German Technical Cooperation
Our team cooperated with Germany Technical Cooperation Company (GTZ), provide servicesfor the planning RE power supply in remote area during “10th five-year period” for NDRC. In addition, we conducted many training courses for local trainers for SDDX program and other projects. So far, more than 200 trainers had been cultivated, which effectively supported the continuable development of these project.
The project”Urban Energy Supply Planning for Sustainable Environmental Development” started in 2003. The experts from China and German worked for Huhhot, Suzhou and Bejing our team worked as the national management office..
To support Brightness Program in China, the test and measurement equipments were perfected, training and demonstration projects were carried out in Qinghai, Yunnan, Gansu, Tibet, as well as other capability-building projects. Our team played the role also of the national management.
For promoting human resources development and employment in renewable energy industry, we carried out research on vocational education and training system reform in renewable energy.
3. Sino-US Cooperation
Under the framework of Sino-US cooperation, we established a solid partnership with NREL, compiled the training book of PV and Wind hybrid system for trainers and trainees, studied the incentive policies for promoting PV development .
In addition, the ongoing cooperation project “ Assessment on Mini-grid PV and Wind Power Plant in China”£¬aiming at finding the problems in system design, operation and management, summing up experience, contribution to SDDC program in China.
4.Sino-Australian Cooperation
The Centre passed ISPQ international accreditation. 4 members obtained ISP Master Trainer certificates, 4 members obtained ISP Auditor certificates, they are the pioneers in China.
The two sides reached an agreement to carry out extensive cooperation in China, introduce advanced experiences and standards, promote training and certification in renewable energy industry.
5. Others
The Centre has elaborated a number of study reports supported by the UNDP and the WWF, such as "11th Five-Year" PV development plan in China”, “Study on Market-oriented Operation Mechanism for PV/Wind Home System in Inner Mongolia”.
The Centre keeps close cooperation with well know international companies in PV and wind generation field, such as British IT Power, Siemens, Solar world, SMA, BP, America Bergy, etc.
