Abstract: Requirements for dynamic online analysis and control are becoming increasingly pressing and useful as
more and more rapidly changing elements are introduced to power systems in the smart grid context. To adapt this
change, we propose a conception of transforming the existing SCADA system into a Dynamic SCADA (Dynamic
SCADA, DySCADA) system. Moreover, we discuss the design schemes of its sub⁃station and master station in de⁃
tail, and point out that its sub⁃station stands with three characters of millisecond level dynamic, difference informa⁃
tion and event⁃driven, and the DySCADA has the advantages of real⁃time, synchronism, integrated, strong adapta⁃
bility and utilization of existing investment, which gurantees that it can provide real⁃time, synchronous and com⁃
plete dynamic data for dynamic analysis and control of power grid. Finally, we put forward the DySCADA′s upgra⁃
ding plan, and point out that the validity of the DySCADA has been verified preliminary by constructing protype
system of the DySCADA in our lab.

Abstract: The development of smart distribution grid strongly depends on the establishment of reliable communica⁃
tion platform. Nowadays, communication between stations is increasing rapidly and real⁃time data of the whole net⁃
work is required, which SCADA and WAMS could not provide. This paper proposed a method to upgrade SCADA
into dynamic SCADA by installing a new equipment called dynamic RTU. On this basis, the paper built a prototype
system and proposed an analysis of the traditional implementation of IEC104 protocol communication and pointed
out its shortcoming. And implementation of the non⁃blocking 104 protocol communication using the non⁃blocking
implementing method significantly improves communication performance in the dynamic SCADA.

(North China Electric Power University), Beijing 102206, China)
Abstract: With the accelerated pace of the electric taxi, the growing charging power demand will have certain in⁃
fluence on the grid. As a precondition of safety operation for power grid, studies on electric taxies’ charging load
model is also the theoretical basis of electric taxi charging. Firstly, based on the analysis of Poisson process, ran⁃
dom sequence of charging start time is expressed; then, the calculation model of electric taxi charging serving time
is set up. Finally, charging power demand model of electric taxi is build. According to this model, electric taxi
charging power curve within a day was calculated and presented with the operating data in a demonstration electric
taxi charging station. The results of the simulation examples show that the modeling method of the charging power
demand model is effective.

(State Grid Zhoushan Power Supply Company, Zhoushan 316021, China)
Abstract: An interharmonic intelligent analysis algorithm based on optimal weighted Burg spectral estimation was
proposed to improve spectral line splitting and low frequency resolution of Burg algorithm. At first, the optimal
weighting function could be obtained by minimizing the average frequency error variance. The first⁃order reflection
coefficient which was based on minimizing the sum of the weighted forward and backward prediction error variance
of the second⁃order prediction error filter was achieved by Levinson recursion. Then the numbers and the pre⁃esti⁃
mated frequencies of the harmonics and inter harmonics were obtained. Moreover, an adaptive algorithm for the ad⁃
justing frequency learning rate of inter harmonics is presented. Finally, their frequencies, amplitudes and phases
were analyzed precisely by applying improved Adaline neural network. The simulation results showed the proposed
algorithm which improves spectral estimation performance compared with Burg algorithm and computational com⁃
plexity with eigenspace method has the characteristics of high resolution, superb precision, and strong robustness.

Abstract: A mathematical model is designed with a three⁃level SVPWM control and the control process is analyzed
in the paper. The amount of reactive power is obtained by the instantaneous reactive power theory, and the compen⁃

positive and negative sequence closed⁃loop feedback control by using positive and negative sequence synchronous
controller. Finally, the real⁃time compensation of reactive power and the improvement of power factor of the grid are
achieved. Simulation and experiments show the correctness of the theory and the power factor of the grid is im⁃

Abstract: A new method which combines dynamic continuation power flow (DCPF) and adaptive chaotic particle
swarm optimization (ACPSO) algorithm is applied to solve the maximum static voltage stability margin. The method
takes the maximum static voltage stability margin as its objective. To overcome the disadvantage of treating power
unbalancing in continuation power flow, the DCPF that brings dynamic power flow distribution power unbalancing
according to frequency static characteristic of load and generator is constructed and used to calculate static voltage
margin of each group control variable. Considering of the slow calculation of particle swarm optimization algorithm
being easy to trap in local optimal solution, we bring chaos optimization algorithm in particle swarm optimization al⁃
gorithm to compose ACPSO, which is applied to search the optimal combination of control variables. Examples con⁃
firm the validity of the algorithm.

Research on one⁃cycle control of power factor correction
converter with fast dynamic response
HUANG Chao, LIN Wei⁃ming, ZHANG Qiang
(College of Electrical Engineering & Automation, Fuzhou University, Fuzhou 350108, China)
Abstract: A novel strategy of One⁃Cycle Control (OCC) technique combining with load current feedforward control
for power factor correction (PFC) converter with fast load dynamic response is proposed in this paper. A load feed⁃
forward control loop parallel with the output voltage feedback control loop is added by a multiply unit. The feedfor⁃
ward signal is multiplied with the output voltage feedback signal and the output signal becomes the carrier wave of
OCC modulator, which significantly improves the dynamic response of the converter due to load variation. Besides,
two compensation methods of adaptive output current ripple are designed to offset the second line harmonic of output
current signal, which reduce the distortion of the PFC converter input current in steady state. At the end, based on
single⁃phase Boost PFC converter, the simulations and experimental results verified the feasibility and superiority of
the proposed control approach.

Technology College, Zhuzhou 412001, China;

Abstract: Open⁃loop iterative control has been used in filter system, but it has the shortcomings such as inadequate
use harmonic current error information, which affects the filter performance. In order to improve filtering effect of
active power filter, the paper proposes an improved open⁃closed⁃loop iterative current control method, which en⁃
hances the system stability. The convergence condition of the proposed algorithm used in filter system is obtained.
The control output of proposed current controller is composed of the control output as well as current error of previ⁃
ous iteration and the current error signal of present iteration. The harmonic current error signal can be used in the
proposed open⁃closed⁃loop control adequately, which corrects the shortcoming of open⁃loop iterative control. Hebb
rules are used to optimize the controller parameters, and the optimal system performance is obtained. The system
possesses good ability of suppressing harmonic current, and the steady⁃state error is small. The simulation and ex⁃
perimental results have shown the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.

2D⁃FEM estimation of eddy current loss in permanent magnets of PMSM
LIANG Si⁃zhuang, SHEN Jian⁃xin
(Zhejiang University, College of Electric Engineering, Hangzhou 310027, China)
Abstract: 2 dimensional finite element methods (2D FEM) have a lot of advantages, such as fast computation,
high accuracy, quick convergence and little fluctuation. In order to achieve the same accuracy, 3D FEM requires a
mesh which contains much more elements than 2D FEM, and this is a huge challenge for most computers. Howev⁃
er, 3D FEM can directly compute eddy current loss accurately while 2D FEM cannot. Eddy current loss in perma⁃
nent magnets in a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), especially a high speed or a large power motor,
can’t be neglected, and the temperature rise of the magnets should be strictly limited, otherwise demagnetization
will be caused. Therefore the temperature rise must be considered when designing a PMSM. This paper aims at es⁃
timating the eddy current loss in permanent magnets by 2D FEM, with the 3D condition taken into account. An es⁃
timation method is proposed in the paper and verified by the simulation for a Prius 04 EV motor.

GONG Jing, ZHANG En⁃ming, QI Xi⁃han, CHEN Cheng
(College of Architectural and Civil Engineering, Northeast Dianli University, Jilin 132012, China)
Abstract: In order to adapt to the development of the transmission line, an electric insulating composite material is
designed and optimized to the structure of 110kV power poles. The circular section with triangular rib is selected by
comparing different types of sections of FRP poles to overcome the poor rigidity and the large deformation of the ma⁃
terial. According to the design principles of the transmission line, a method called the same structure but variable
size is adopted by applying a force on 3D solid model of the pole modeled by ANSYS. The most superior structure
mode and dimensions are derived, in which the height is 17m, the diameter is 350mm and the thickness of the wall
is 10mm. To ensure the reliable operation, the maximum strength and deformation under different conditions are
simulated through numerical method. The maximum operation stress is 109MPa and the displacement of the top of
the pole is 8􀆰 06cm. The results show that the pole design method is reliable and it provides theoretical support to
use the composite materials in the electric power applications.
