Study on transparent conductive cathode materials with low work function, supported by IEE director fund (2008.1-2010.12)

3 projects supported by national high-tech (863)programs.
2 projects supported by enterprises: Jiangsu Solarfun and Eoplly.
Main Achievements:1. Preparing Ge quantum dots, SiGe quantum wells and superlattices, and so on, by UHV/CVD.
2. Characterizing the nonlinear optical properties of SiGe asymmetric superlattices by Reflectance Difference Spectroscopy (RDS) and Mach-Zehnder interferometer.
3. Fabricating SiGe detectors, modulators and filters.
4. Theoretically analyzing and designing HIT solar cells with the emphasis on the role of work function of TCO on the solar cell properties
5. Depositing silicon thin films including a-Si:H, nc-Si, and ¦Ìc-Si, by PECVD.
6. Fabricating HIT solar cells on p-type Si substrates.
7. Maintaining the solar cell production processes for Eoplly Co., Ltd.
8. Having more than 30 papers published and being invited as a reviewer for international journals ¡°Solar Energy¡± and ¡°Solar Energy Materials and Solar Cells¡±.
